Double Bubble
Anatoly Filatov and Scott Cochran have both claimed the unfortunate title of 'bubble boy' at the same time and as a result, will split up the prize money for 297th place.
We caught up with the action in Filatov's hand a bit after the preflop action had already begun. Filatov had a 9,000 bet in front of him on the button and his opponent in the big blind appeared to have raised enough to put Filatov all in. After some deliberation, Filatov announced, "Let's gamble," and called off his remaining stack.
Filatov:
Opponent:
Filatov was ahead, however, the board left his opponent with trip nines and Filatov was sent to the rail.
In what would be Cochran's last hand - Cochran moved all in on a flop for his last 7,000 and was called by his lone opponent.
Cochran: for top pair.
Opponent: for an overpair.
Cochran would need help to survive, however, the turn and river bricked out for him and he was eliminated.
Congratulations to all of our remaining players - who will each be guaranteed a minimum $2,757 payday for their efforts.
