Tonnesen and Walthaus Get Tricky With Pairs

Level 19 : 5,000/10,000, 1,000 ante

Tzu Yen raised to 23,000 in early position, Martin Tonnesen called two spots to his left, Jorn Walthaus called on Tonnesen's direct left, and Nick Guagenti moved all in for 130,000 on the button. Yen quickly folded, Tonnesen re-shoved for 357,000, and Walthaus called having both players well-covered.

Tonnesen: {k-Diamonds}{k-Hearts}
Walthaus: {j-Diamonds}{j-Hearts}
Guagenti: {a-Hearts}{q-Hearts}

The {q-Clubs} was the window card, but it was followed by a meaningless {5-Spades} and {8-Diamonds}. Neither Guagenti or Walthaus improved as the turn and river came {3-Diamonds}, {6-Spades} respectively, and Tonnesen more than doubled to 870,000 chips. Walthaus fell to 845,000, and Guagenti hit the rail.
