Dattani Tries Huge Bluff, Caballero Grabs The Lead
Portuguese poker professional Michel Dattani just tried a huge bluff, which ended up costing him his tournament life.
The hand started with Gordillo Caballero who raised to 12,000 and two players called among which the small blind. Dattani was seated in the big blind and he he three-bet to 42,000 and only Caballero made the call.
The flop brought out and Dattani bet 50,000, Caballero called. On the turn the hit and Dattani fired out another 93,000 and once again his Spanish opponent called.
The river brought the and Dattani moved all in for 205,000. Caballero tanked for a long time but eventually he made the call to create an enormous pot. Dattani flashed and Caballero slammed on the table, as he had just made a huge call.
Dattani was knocked out and Caballero is now the chip leader.
