Team PokerNews Members Still Holding Strong on Day Three 0001

Three members of Team PokerNews are still fighting for their place in poker history.

Our biggest stack at the start of play today is Per Erik Loeff. Per is from Norway, and started the day with 177,000 chips. Per is the big stack at his table, and looks forward to doing some pounding on the shorter stacks at his table today. Per is a lesson in survival. He was down to 19,000 chips nearing the day two dinner break, and wound up with 177,000, in the top 10 % of the stacks ay the start of play today.

Our next player is Yun-Hsiang Fan. Known as 'Terry Fan', Terry is up to over 100,000 chips after the first break. Terry has had a real challenge in learning poker in that he lives in Taiwan, where poker in any form is not allowed. Terry spends a lot of his time in other places, so he has been able to learn poker, and obviously he has learned his lessons well.

Last, but not least is Gareth Edwards. Gareth is our marketing director, and a top online player. Gareth has about 85,000 chips at the first break, and likes his table at lot. Gareth is from The Gold Coast in Australia, and is moving to the big city of Melbourne at the end of the WSOP.
