PokerNews.com Named Exclusive Online Media Partner for PokerStars APPT
PokerNews is proud to announce that it will be the exclusive online media partner and live update provider for Season One of the PokerStars Asia Pacific Poker Tour (APPT). Starting next week with the first event in Manila (August 24th-26th), PokerNews will be the place to be for online coverage of the Asia Pacific Poker Tour. The first event is a three-day $2,500 No Limit Holdem Event, being held at the Hyatt Hotel and Casino in Manila.
Two of the biggest names in the game, Daniel Negreanu and Joe Hachem are confirmed for this event, along with several members of Team PokerStars. All indications are that the numbers for the $2500 main event will exceed 200, with 130 paid entries as this story is written.
The APPT also has stops scheduled for Seoul, Korea (September 28-30) and Sydney, Australia (December 13-16), with more on the way. PokerNews.com will be there all the way providing up-to-date chip counts, photos and video interviews live from the tournament floor.
PokerNews.com is also launching yet another tournament reporting first. At all APPT stops, PokerNews will offer live tournament coverage in both Chinese and Japanese.
