Online Poker Weekend: 'Ship Hamilton', 'NFrost_10' Big Winners 0001

Another big weekend on the online poker circuit saw both the big tournaments just get by their published guarantee numbers. Both the big rooms proved they are psychic when it comes to knowing their user bases, and knowing how to set their guarantees. Full Tilt made their $750,000 guarantee by just two players, while over at PokerStars, while the number was $11,400 over the guarantee, when you're dealing with a (newly raised) $1.5 million guarantee, that's pretty much right on the number.

Talk of guarantees aside, there was still plenty of action on the cyber felt this weekend, and it went down like this.

Full Tilt $750,000 Guarantee

The Full Tilt $750,000 guarantee had 3,752 entrants for a prize pool of $750,400.00. Notable finishes included Marco "CrazyMarco" Johnson in 40th place ($1,763.44) and Bryan Micon in 16th place ($3,752.00). The chip counts to start the final table were:

WhoAteMyShorts C 2,970,975

ship hamilton C 1,557,327

6speed C 1,415,132

TollBoothBandit C 1,125,797

hallebeary C 1,067,372

Terry "Asiandude7" Eischens C 1,000,569

Ronaldinho C 871,940

Carl Bildt C 673,828

ChAzZz18 C 573,060

Finishing in 9th place was Carl Bildt. WhoAteMyShorts moved all in from the small blind with 9?9? and Carl Bildt called all in with big slick, but no ace or king would hit the board and Carl Bildt earned $10,055.36 for the 9th place finish. The next to fall was TollBoothBandit. With the blinds at 20,000/40,000 and an ante of 5,000, 6speed raised from late position to 108,760 and TollBoothBandit moved all in from the small blind for 492,437 with pocket sixes. 6speed called with two red fives and would need some help. The board came out 2? A? 4?2?3? and 6speed made a straight on the river to send TollBoothBandit to the rail in 8th place for $13,507.20. Ronaldinho would be eliminated next when two red kings failed to hold against 6speed's pocket sevens all in preflop. A seven fell on the turn and Ronaldinho finished in 7th place for $17,259.20. ChAzZz18 would be eliminated in 6th place when the blinds and antes hit the 25,000/50,000/6,000 level. Down to just 80,560, ChAzZz18 was all in with 7?6? against ship hamilton's J?9?. A jack hit on the flop and that would be enough to felt ChAzZz18 in 6th place for $23,037.28.

The remaining five players would play for over an hour until the next elimination. Ship hamilton went on quite a rush in a 6 hand span. After cracking hallebeary's pocket aces with pocket sevens, ship hamilton would eliminate WhoAteMyShorts and hallebeary on consecutive hands. First it was A?Q? holding up against WhoAteMyShorts' A?8?, earning WhoAteMyShorts $31,066.56 for 5th place. Then it was 9?9? winning a race against hallebeary's A?K?, dodging a lot of outs when the board came out 5?J?5?10?2?. Hallebeary made $41,422.08 for the 4th place finish.

The chip counts at the start of three-handed play were:
