A huge Sunday for online poker included the conclusion of FTOPS Event #22, $5,000+200 NL Hold'em 6-max, where Day 2 play saw 50 players returning to action at Full Tilt. Among those falling short of the final table were Jim "WinnerFish" Kilarjian in 10th ($27,500), makspak in 12th ($27,500), Ty "GimmeDa1time" Reiman in 13th ($21,250), Jon "TwistedEcho" Heath in 16th ($15,000), Bahbak "bigredAK" Oboodi in 17th ($15,000), Marco "CrazyMarco" Johnson in 18th ($15,000), Jamie "pokerjamers" Armstrong in 19th ($11,250), Chris "Genius28" Lee in 27th ($11,250), Shaun "tedsfishfry" Deeb in 28th ($9,375), Stian "JohnnyBelow" Stabell in 31st ($9,375), Craig "HU4ROLLZ" Bergeron in 34th ($9,375) and Scott "SCTrojans08" Freeman in 35th ($9,375).

Nine of the remaining 50 made it to the final table. Their chip counts as the final began:

donivan31 - 541,886

Gordon "holla-athca-boy" Vayo - 489,219

Adam "Roothlus" Levy - 435,662

Michiel "utreg" Brummelhuis - 168,764

Egarim - 140,330

Steve "gboro780" Gross - 98,640

The first to depart the final was Steve "gboro780" Gross at the 3,000/6,000/750 level. Action was folded to Gross in the small blind and he shoved for 87,340. In the big blind donivan31 called with A?10?. Gross tabled 8?8?, but lost the race as the board came 10?Q?9?4?3?. Gross took ninth place for $48,750. Egarim busted a few hands later. Gordon "holla-athca-boy" Vayo opened to 16,200 under the gun and it folded around to Egarim in the big blind, who shoved for 143,780 with A?9?. Vayo called with J?J? and took down the pot when the board ran out K?K?K?8?9?. Egarim earned $62,500 for eighth.

The newly found chips for Gordon Vayo were soon gone as he was eliminated at 4,000/8,000/1,000. Vayo had run pocket queens into pocket aces twice at the final table to become the short stack. On his final hand, Vayo shoved from the cutoff for 103,683 and Michiel "utreg" Brummelhuis called from the small blind with 9?9?. Vayo tabled A?K? and needed some help. The board rolled out Q?3?Q?10?6? and Vayo bowed out in seventh place for $77,500. Donivan31 departed at 6,000/12,000/1,500 in sixth place. From middle position, fyrtuk made it 28,000 to play and donivan31 popped it to 111,000 on the button. The blinds folded and fyrtuk re-raised to 492,000. Donivan31 called all in for 365,245 with 6?6?, but trailed fyrtuk's 7?7?. The board came 3?3?10?10?J? and donivan31 was out in sixth place for $118,750.

Michiel "utreg" Brummelhuis fell at 8,000/16,000/2,000. Adam "Roothlus" Levy, at this stage the chip leader, opened to 38,750 under the gun, and Brummelhuis shoved from the small blind for 432,292. Levy called with A?J? and trailed Brummelhuis' A?Q?. That quickly changed when the flop came 2?10?4? to give Levy the nut flush. The turn and river were 5?5? as Michiel "utreg" Brummelhuis collected $162,500 for the fifth-place showing. The chip counts at the start of four-handed play:

Adam "Roothlus" Levy - 1,412,052

fyrtuk - 866,205

Kevin "Wu_Wizard" MacPhee - 496,688

the best woman - 225,055

Things changed quickly, though. Still at 8,000/16,000/2,000, Adam Levy raised to 38,750 on the button and fyrtuk re-raised to 112,000 in the small blind. Action folded back to Levy and he shoved. With 700,205 behind, fyrtuk called all in with 10?10? and was racing against Levy's K?Q?. The board ran out 5?3?7?6?6? and fyrtuk doubled to over 1.6 million and possessed over half the chips in play. Levy dropped to 655,847, but the tournament was far from over.

Kevin "Wu_Wizard" MacPhee bit the dust in fourth place at 10,000/20,000/2,500. Adam Levy opened to 48,750 in the cutoff and fyrtuk re-raised to 140,000 on the button. Kevin "Wu_Wizard" MacPhee shoved from the big blind for 460,341. Levy folded, but fyrtuk called with 10?10?. MacPhee tabled A?Q?, but the board ran out 7?6?K?8?9? and he was out in fourth for $218,750. Third went to the best woman. From the small blind, fyrtuk raised enough to set the best woman all in with Q?J?. The best woman called all in for 252,471 with K?10?, but the board came 8?10?J?A?K? and the best woman's two pair fell to fyrtuk's straight. The third-place finish earned the best woman $281,250.

The chip counts at the start of heads-up play:

fyrtuk - 2,483,936

Adam "Roothlus" Levy - 516,064

Levy doubled up once, but it would not be enough. On the final hand, Levy opened to 48,750 and fyrtuk re-raised to 140,000. Levy shoved for 1,146,628 and fyrtuk snap-called with Q?Q?. Levy tabled 10?10? and needed help to stay alive. It was all but over on the flop as it came 6?Q?6? to give fyrtuk the nearly unbeatable full house. The turn and river came 8?J? as Adam "Roothlus" Levy finished as the runner-up, taking home $387,500. This FTOPS series' high-rollers honors went to fyrtuk, along with $625,000.
