PokerStars SCOOP Schedule
PokerStars has announced its schedule for the 2010 Spring Championship of Online Poker. We're calling it SCOOP because we like efficiency and ice cream.
The SCOOP will run from May 3 through 16. Each of 33 events scheduled will have three buy-in levels. There is $36 million in prize money being guaranteed with the Main Event promising $1 million, $3 million, and $5 million for the low, medium, and high levels respectively.
We'd love to post the entire schedule here, but 33 events can take up a lot of room. Good thing the PokerStarsBlog has it all for you.
Oh yea, you can't play in the SCOOP if you don't have an account. This is the remedy for that.
Las Vegas Sands in Pennsylvania
The fourth casino to jump on the table games bandwagon in Pennsylvania is none other than Sands Bethlehem, a Las Vegas Sands Corp. casino.
The Las Vegas Sands Corp. recently filed a formal application with Pennsylvania gaming regulators to add 80 table games in Sands Bethlehem by early summer. Baccarat, blackjack, craps, roulette, and poker are all on the line-up if the application is approved.
"The pending addition of table games has given us a chance to review our overall strategy as it relates to the Sands, and we are optimistic this opportunity will be a positive catalyst for both the balance sheet and the future development of the property," said Michael Leven, Las Vegas Sands President.
