2010 World Series of Poker: Making the Bracelet 0001

Just last week, Steve Soffa opened his doors to PokerNews and allowed us to take a behind-the-scenes look at the creative and manufacturing processes behind the 2010 World Series of Poker bracelets. Located in the Jewelry District in downtown Los Angeles, the Hardcore Watch Company offices will be the epicenter of all of the manufacturing for every WSOP bracelet this year.

HCW was launched in 2005 and the company now has a store in the Rio Hotel and Casino, as well as the prestige of being named the official jeweler of the World Series of Poker. Plenty of poker pros have donned the watches of HCW. Doyle and Todd Brunson have been seen sporting them, and last year's Main Event champion, Joe Cada, was wearing the "Suicide King" watch, which has become the official watch of the WSOP, when he won.

Soffa collaborated with some of the game's top players on the bracelet design, which is a bit edgier than those of the past, yet is still traditional. Each bracelet will be engraved with the name of the winner from each event, as well as the event that was won, and will be presented in a handcrafted box. We could keep telling you about them, but it's better to get a visual. Check out the video below for more.

The finished product will be unveiled on May 28 and you can bet PokerNews will be there to bring you all the coverage. Be sure to follow us on Twitter for up-to-the-minute news.
