World Series of Poker 2010: WSOP Europe Schedule Announced
Just hours before the 41st annual World Series of Poker opens its doors, the official dates for the World Series of Poker Europe have been announced. It will once again take place from Sept 14-28. The WSOP Europe will have five events this year, one more than in 2009, and will once again call the casino at the Empire in London, its home.
The 2010 WSOP Europe will kick off with a ��2,500 no-limit hold'em six-max event and will conclude with coveted ��10,000 no-limit hold'em Main Event, which has become one of the most sought after bracelets of the year. Since its inception in 2007, the WSOP Europe main event has been won byAnnette Obrestad, John Juanda, andBarry Shulman who beat out Daniel Negreanu heads-up in one of the longest final tables in WSOP history.
Also on the schedule this year are a ��1,000 event with three starting days, a ��5,000 pot-limit Omaha tournament, and a new a ��10,000 high-roller heads-up tournament, which will definitely be an event to keep an eye on.
