The PokerStars UK & Ireland Poker Tour latest stop in Killarney is under way. The guaranteed prize pool is 250,000 and more than 220 players have registered for the 1,000 buy-in event.

PokerStars Team Pro Julian Thew stayed across the pond for this event as did UKIPT Coventry winner Gilles Augustus and UKIPT Nottingham winner Andrew Couldridge.

If you're in Las Vegas for the World Series of Poker, you clearly missed this Ireland event, but there's always UKIPT Brighton, which begins July 15, and that's only if the Vegas heat is running hotter than you.

Check out the PokerStars Blog for UKIPT Killarney updates.

Ante Up for Africa

Ante Up for Africa is a nonprofit organization dedicated to raising awareness for Africans in need. The organization was founded by Don Cheadle, Annie Duke and Norman Epstein. Every year, Ante Up for Africa hosts a charity poker event at the World Series of Poker.

This year, Ante Up for Africa is launching an online campaign to raise $10,000 by the start of the WSOP Main Event on July 5.

"$10,000 is enough to change one person's life at the World Series of Poker. But in Africa, it can change thousands of lives," Duke said. "With the poker world focused on the WSOP right now, we're hoping poker players will once again step up and contribute, and even put aside at least the money towards one satellite buy-in, and instead donate it online to Ante Up For Africa, where the money can provide much-needed assistance to those in need in Africa."

Looking for a new ride? Maybe a Tesla Roadster Sport, which starts at around $128,500, is something you'd be interested in. It's what Andy Bloch is riding around in. He took time out from his WSOP schedule to show it to Kristy Arnett, and we filmed his show and tell.
