There's plenty going on at the poker rooms around Las Vegas this weekend, that is if you go bust from a World Series of Poker event. Also, ESPN Inside Deal brings you its WSOP Main Event primer. Hard Rock Poker
You should know by now that the Hard Rock Hotel is Team PokerNews' home during the2010 World Series of Poker. We run a PokerNews $4/$8 game every Wednesday night at 8 p.m. There's also PokerNews Sit-n-Go Sundays that you should be taking part of.
This weekend, though, plenty is going on at the Hard Rock Poker Room. Tonight, at 7 p.m., a special tournament is running, and if you like to shove all your chips in the middle and flip, then this tournament is for you. The buy-in is $30, and you'll receive 500 in chips. Your only option is to go all-in or fold. In case you come out on the wrong end of one of these all-ins, rebuys are $20.
On top of that, All In Magazine is holding a WSOP media freeroll on Saturday July 3 at 7 p.m.
And if you can't make that, DeepStacks Live is holding a Champions tournament on July 4, which is part of a VIP poker camp running July 2 through 4. Players at this camp will learn tournament and cash-game strategies, how to manage their bankrolls, and more.

Everest and Betclic in France
Public operations for online poker rooms Everest Poker and Betclic have begun in France. This comes after the liberalization of online betting in France. Everest Poker and Betclic are owned jointly by Mangas Gaming and GigaMedia.
"We are especially excited about the opening of the large French market to online poker," GigaMedia CEO Arthur Wang said. "Everest and BetClic are strongest in France and we see an enormous market opportunity for which we are best positioned with our award winning poker products."

Buffer Room
It's a huge weekend in Las Vegas. The Fourth of July is just around the corner, and both the World Series of Poker and the UFC are in town. In honor of all this, Bruce Buffer's poker room inside the Luxor Hotel and Casino hosted its grand opening on Friday.
The Bruce Buffer Poker Room will host tournaments, autograph sessions, and various activities during UFC weekends in Las Vegas. Signature tournaments will also run, where players can play heads-up against Buffer.

WSOP Main Event - Inside Deal Primer
ESPN's Inside Deal is back for the second time this week. This time, however, Laura Lane, Andrew Feldman, and Bernard Lee (who is in Las Vegas) discuss the Main Event of the 2010 World Series of Poker.
Feldman and Lee have different opinions about WSOP Player of the Year prestige, Joe Cada stops by to discuss the past year as reigning champ, and Cada and Lee make some predictions about this year's Main Event.

Thinking about registering for the 2010 World Series of Poker Main Event and need a crash course in how to outlast the field? Vanessa Rousso is holding a boot camp at the Aria Resort and Casino in Las Vegas on July 5 (Day 1a of the WSOP Main Event).
Rousso will share playing strategies, reading people, and pot control in an a class centered around the Main Event structure. You can qualify online at PokerStars for $25, but if you don't want to take that route, you can register for $399.
