FTOPS and WCOOP Final Table Leaderboard: Obst Way Out In Front
After a three-week run, the 2010 World Championship of Online Poker at PokerStars ended last week. With 62 events played and over $63,000,000 in prize money awarded, the 2010 WCOOP was the largest online tournament series to ever run. Some players stand out during online poker's various tournament series more than others, and we have decided to break down the numbers to see who is shining brighter than the rest.
James Obst's performance in online tournament series has been nothing short of remarkable. With a whopping 12 final tables made, he is comfortably ahead of his nearest competitor. This past WCOOP alone, he made four final tables. Over the course of his poker career, he has three first-place finishes in the FTOPS and WCOOP. Tournament series are certainly his forte and one cannot help but be excited for when he turns 21 and can play in the World Series of Poker.
