Remaining World Poker Tour Season X Schedule To Include Eight Main Events in 2012
Season X of the World Poker Tour is nearing its halfway point and will boast an impressive 2012 schedule that will include eight Main Events, both domestic and international. Among the stops in the United States is a return to the Commerce Casino in February for the Los Angeles Poker Classic; the Bay 101 Shooting Star in March; and back-to-back Florida stops in April at the second Seminole Hard Rock Poker Showdown and the inaugural stop at the Jacksonville Poker Room.
Internationally, the WPT will be crossing the pond for three Main Events including a new stop in Dublin, Ireland, in January, followed by a return visit to Venice, Italy, in February. The capstone of the European events will be the WPT Vienna in March, which set the record last year for largest field at a WPT Main Event in Europe.
In May, Season X will conclude with the WPT World Championship at the Bellagio. That event is one of the year��s most prestigious tournaments and boasts a laundry list of winners:

Also at the World Championship, the WPT will host its second Super High Roller Event, a $100,000 buy-in tournament that is expected to attract the best poker players in the world.
Most of these Main Events are slated to be filmed and will air on Fox Sports Net in the U.S., including the Super High Roller Event; in addition, each final table will be streamed live online.
