Both Day 1 starting flights of the World Series of Poker Circuit Harrahs Atlantic City Main Event were held on Saturday. Day 1a's flight saw 341 entrants take to the felt, and was complemented by 261 runners in the Day 1b affair, creating a total of 602 entrants. After both starting flights, Hung Truong was on top of the leaderboard with a mind-numbing 211,200 almost twice as much as his closest competitor.

Truong wasnt the only story of the day though; the field is returning plenty of notables. Chris Reslock, Miami John Cernuto, Sirous Jamshidi, Josh Brikis, Nick Frangos, Carter Phillips, Mark Pegasus Smith, Chris Tryba and Chad Brown are among those returning for Day 2.

Some who were not as lucky include Bryan Colin, Beth Shak, Kenny Nguyen and Rex Clinkscales all will not be returning for Day 2.

Last years champ, Matthew Waxman, did not return to defend his title he was busy playing Bellagios $100,000 Super High Roller event. His 2010 victory in Atlantic City marked his first major tournament win.

The Day 1a starting field came close to matching the entire turnout of 352 players in last years field. This stop's 602 entrants marks the second highest turnout for a WSOPC Main Event this season, second only to the WSOPC Hammond event which boasted more than 1,600 players.

Day 2 of the Main Event starts promptly at 1200 EST (1700 GMT) and be sure to follow all of the action live on Pokernews.com.
