WSOP What To Watch For: Rast and Mueller Going for the Trifecta
It's time for another daily dose of World Series of Poker information in the PokerNews What To Watch For. Wednesday's events include two final days. Both the Event 9: $1,500 No-Limit Hold'em Re-Entry and Event 11: $1,500 Pot-Limit Omaha will aim to conclude and we've got the top stories for you to keep an eye on.
Event 9: $1,500 No-Limit Hold'em Re-Entry
Rast Looks for Third Bracelet and More WSOP Dominance
Last year at the 2011 WSOP, Brian Rast crushed. He played a very small schedule of events, but came away with not only his first gold bracelet, but also his second. Rast won Event 15: $1,500 Pot-Limit Hold'em before going on to defeat one of the game's greatest, Phil Hellmuth, in Event 55: $50,000 Poker Player's Championship.
Rast has been mowing through this field like a brand new John Deer and will enter the final table second in chips. Although Ryan Olisar may have the chip lead, everyone knows this is Rast's tournament to lose. Especially with the way he's been playing and running the past couple of days.
Mueller Also Aims for Number Three
Greg Mueller also has two WSOP gold bracelets to his credit and will be looking for number three at this final table. Mueller's work will be a bit more cut out for him than Rast's.
He will enter the final table seventh in chips. Still, Mueller has shown over the years that he has what it takes to maneuver his way into the winner's circle, so we'll see if we can once again find him there when this event concludes.

Event 11: $1,500 Pot-Limit Omaha
Wade Right Back From Where He Left Off Last Year
Last year, Tristan Wade made two WSOP final tables in Las Vegas before going on to win his first gold bracelet out at WSOP Europe in Cannes. Wade has picked up right where he left off and is back at another WSOP final table looking for more gold.
Wade will enter the final table seventh in chips, but everyone knows pot-limit Omaha can be a swingy game, which makes Wade's chances of running it up very good. If Wade can win this bracelet, he'll be one of a select few to own a WSOP gold bracelet on both American and European soil.
