WSOP What To Watch For: Rubie Leads Event #28; Chiu & Schwartz in Final Three of Event #27
One more event at the 2012 World Series of Poker has moved to Day 3 with Event #28: $2,500 No-Limit Hold'em - Four-Handed getting down to the final eight players. Event #27: $1,500 H.O.R.S.E., is in need of a fourth day and three players will come back to play for that title. These two events are the focus of this edition of the PokerNews What To Watch For.

Chiu Chasing Number Five
David Chiu is extremely well-respected by his peers for both his character and his poker skill. Every year he just seems to get there in a WSOP event. After all, he does have four gold bracelets to his name. Chiu now tops the final three moving into the added Day 4 of Event #27 and will be putting the hammer down with the big stack in an attempt to win his fifth piece of gold.
Is It Time for Schwartz To Win Gold?
As stated on Friday, everyone most famously remembers Ylon Schwartz for his fourth-place finish in the 2008 WSOP Main Event. Since then, he has recorded two third-place finishes in WSOP events. One of those came in 2009 and one in 2010. Down to the final 18 in Event 27, Schwartz has maneuvered his way to the top of the remaining competitors and has a very good shot at making his fourth WSOP final table. Schwartz has made his way down to the final three and sits in second place with his best shot ever at earning a gold bracelet.

Can Rubie Win Gold at Second WSOP?
Last year, PokerNews featured Brendon Rubie in our 2011 WSOP Rookie Roundup series. It was his first time making the trip to the WSOP since turning of age and he put up a 13th-place showing in the $5,000 No-Limit Hold'em Six-Handed event for over $30,000. He's already topped that this year by making it to the final eight of Event #28, where he holds the chip lead heading into the final day.
Rubie is young, he's fearless and if you can believe it, he has plenty of poker experience even at such a ripe young age. Only seven players stand in the way of Rubie and his first gold bracelet, which would come just his second year at the WSOP.
