Only one event at the 2012 World Series of Poker is scheduled to reach its conclusion on Saturday, but that doesn't mean a lack of stories. Event #60: $10,000 2-7 Draw Lowball (No-Limit) is down to the final 10 players.

Reigning Champ Coming Back

John Juanda is regarded by most as one of the best 2-7 draw lowball players in the world and has been able to show off that talent over the past two years.

Juanda famously denied Phil Hellmuth his 12th bracelet by overcoming a 3-to-1 chip deficit at the 2011 WSOP and he looks to defend his title on Saturday. With only 10 players left, Juanda will come into play third in chips and is without a doubt one of the top favorites to win.

Schulman Destroys Day 2

Nick Schulman won his first and only WSOP bracelet by winning this very event in 2009. Not only did Schulman win this event in 2009, but he was also able to final table in 2011, ultimately coming in fifth.

Schulman was able to send many notable names to the rail on Day 2 and was the chip leader for most of the day. He is coming into play second in chips and is looking to deny Juanda his second bracelet in this event and claim the title as the first player to win two $10,000 2-7 championships.

Doing It The Wright Way

Larry Wright won the only other 2-7 lowball event offered at the 2012 WSOP. Wright was able to defeat Brandon Cantu heads-up in Event #30: $1,500 2-7 Draw Lowball and may be able to claim the title as best 2-7 player of 2012 if he can conquer the field and win this event.
