When the Q? peeled off on the river, van der Sman moved all in for $19,376 and Cates made the call. The Dutchman revealed K?J?10?8? for a straight, but it was no good as Cates took down the $124,350 pot with Q?Q?K?10? for a rivered full house.

Despite the big pot, the two finished relatively close to even, with Cates etching out a meek $10,000 win.

The $200/$400 PLO game was back in action last Saturday and 5tgb6yhn7 dominated. Not only did he win $297,700, enough to make him far and away the days biggest winner, but he also took down three of the five biggest hands.

In the biggest hand, action was three-handed when 5tgb6yhn7 ($94,000) raised to $1,200 from the small blind, Joeri L0ve2playU van der Sman ($105,780) defended from the big, and the 8?7?2? was run out on the flop. 5tgb6yhn7 led out for $2,000, van der Sman raised to $8,395, 5tgb6yhn7 three-bet $27,580, and van der Sman four-bet $93,530. 5tgb6yhn7 called off his remaining $65,220, and suddenly a $187,995 pot was on the line.

In another notable hand, action was four-handed when 5tgb6yhn7 ($62,120.75) opened for $1,200 under the gun only to have van der Sman ($133,730) three-bet to $4,000 from the small blind. After the big blind got out of the way, 5tgb6yhn7 four-bet $13,600, van der Sman called, and the flop fell 6?5?4?. 5tgb6yhn7's aces improved to a set on the A? turn, and the 3? river allowed them to hold up so he could take down the $124,637 pot.

Van der Sman had a rough go at it but turned things around when he took down the days second biggest pot. In that hand, action was four-handed and van der Sman ($65,070) raised to $1,200 from the cutoff. Gozoboro ($36,195) three-bet to $2,000 from the small blind, and 5tgb6yhn7 called from the big. Gozoboro got out of the way, 5tgb6yhn7 called, and the A? turned, which both players checked. The Q? river saw 5tgb6yhn7 check-call van der Smans all-in bet of $40,670, creating a pot of $138,135, but his Q?J?10?7? two pair was no good against the Dutchmans K?6?A?9? nut flush.
