Joining the top 10 this week is Philipp "philbort" Gruissem. With a third-place finish in the World Poker Tour Season XI Grand Prix de Paris for �170,065, Gruissem rounded out an impressive Period 1 with this fourth score (he has two other six-figure scores in Period 1).
Welcome to the GPI
Of the 10 new players to join this week's GPI, Ramin Hajiyev debuts the highest at No. 174. A native of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Hajiyev finished in 11th place at the 2012 Partouche Poker Tour Main Event. The winner of that tournament, Ole Schemion, also made his debut on the GPI �� in the No. 185 spot.

What's In Store?
It's a busy time for the World Poker Tour with two events going on simultaneously. The Borgata Poker Open is down to 27 players, and among those still in are Steve Brecher (No. 184), Vinny Pahuja (No. 230), Kyle Bowker (No. 164), and Todd Terry (No. 73). Also still in progress is WPT Malta, down to its final table. Ilan Boujenah (No. 48), finished in 11th place and Alessio Isaia (No. 196) is fourth in chips with six players remaining.
