The Online Railbird Report: "RaiseOnce" Becomes Week��s Biggest Winner Banking $563,702
The 2012 World Series of Poker Europe is in the books, and the PokerStars European Poker Tour Sanremo has just begun. All the while, the online high-stakes games over on PokerStars have been running around the clock.
��RaiseOnce�� became the biggest winner this week after banking a healthy $563,702 in 4,097 hands across 48 sessions. Not too far behind was ��patpatman�� (+$415,183 in 78 sessions/13,579 hands), and rounding out the top three was Jens ��Jeans89�� Kyll?nen (+$275,915 in 236 sessions/15,597 hands).
��Odd_Oddsen�� followed up last week��s $317,778 win by giving it all back and then some; in fact, he ended on top of the losing column after dropping $389,217 in 7,393 hands over 147 sessions. Others with losing weeks were ��The Liar�� (-$258,641 in 109 sessions/9,087 hands) and Ben ��Sauce123�� Sulsky (-$228,430 in 24 sessions/3,573 hands).
Tollerene Continues to Roll; Finishes as Saturday��s Biggest Winner
After a rough start to the year, Ben ��Ben86�� Tollerene has gotten back on track. He won $1.3 million in August, and he continued his winning ways in September. In fact, on Saturday, Sept. 29, he banked a $124,000 win playing mainly $200/$400 pot-limit Omaha.
In his biggest pot of the day, action was five-handed when Tollerene ($41,491) opened for $1,000 from the cutoff and received a call from last week��s second biggest winner, ��Odd_Oddsen�� ($85,888.33), from the button. Both blinds got out of the way and the flop fell 6?Q?8?.
Tollerene proceeded to check-call a bet of $1,800 and then check-called a bet of $5,000 on the 4? turn. When the 10? peeled off on the river, Tollerene check-raised all in for $33,691 after ��Odd_Oddsen�� bet $13,755. ��Odd_Oddsen�� called the additional $19,936 and tabled 7?9?8?7? for a ten-high straight, but it was no good against Tollerene��s 9?J?Q?3? queen-high straight, sending $83,577 in Tollerene's direction.
The aforementioned pot was big, but it was almost $40,000 shy of that day��s biggest. Action was five-handed when ��1Il|1Il|1il|�� ($76,532) raised to $880 on the button, ��M.O.P.�� ($41,163) three-bet to $3,040 from the small blind, and ��Odd_Oddsen�� ($39,613) called from the big. ��1Il|1Il|1il|�� then four-bet $13,040, two calls were made, and the flop fell 10?3?5?. ��M.O.P.�� wasted little time in moving all in for $28,223, ��Odd_Oddsen�� called off for $26,573, and ��1Il|1Il|1il|�� called to put them both at risk.

The 5? turn gave both ��M.O.P.�� and ��1Il|1Il|1il|�� trip fives, but the former��s ace kicker made his best. The J? river was of no consequence and ��M.O.P.�� was pushed the $122,134 pot.
��RaiseOnce�� Wins $372,000 Playing FLO8 & 2-7 Triple Draw
We don��t talk about it much in the Online Railbird Report, but there have been some strong fixed-limit Omaha 8 or better (FLO8) and 2-7 Triple Draw games on PokerStars the last couple of months. ��RaiseOnce�� has been seen at these tables regularly, and on Sunday he won an impressive $372,000, which contributed to him becoming the week��s biggest winner and put him just $157,000 down through 2012.
Approximately $114,000 of ��RaiseOnce's�� profit came at the 2-7 Triple Draw tables against Vladimir ��GVOZDIKA55�� Shchemelev, and more than $200,000 of it came in FLO8. Regarding the latter, ��RaiseOnce�� took most of his winnings from ��patpatman,�� who dropped a staggering $330,000 over the course of the day and finished as the biggest loser.
Surprisingly, ��patpatman�� won the day��s biggest pot, which actually came in an early session of $100/$200 no-limit hold��em where he had profited $50,000. In that hand, action was heads-up between ��patpatman�� ($34,879.30) and Alex ��Kanu7�� Millar ($37,788.69) when the former opened for $400 and the latter three-bet to $1,400. A call was made, the flop came down 8?6?A?, and then ��patpatman�� called a bet of $2,200 from Millar. The 4? turn saw Millar lead out, this time for $5,800, and once again Millar called. Millar proceeded to move all in for $28,388.70 on the Q? river, and ��patpatman�� quickly called off for $25,479.29. Millar rolled over 10?9? for a missed gut-shot straight draw, meaning "patpatman's" A?Q? was good enough to win the $69,758.60 pot.
In the second biggest pot of the day, which happened at the same game, ��patpatman�� ($54,761.51) opened for $400 on the button and was met with a three-bet to $1,400 from Millar ($30,990.31). From there, ��patpatman�� called, the flop fell 6?4?10?, and Millar bet $2,200. ��Patpatman�� responded with a raise to $5,400 and Millar called before check-calling a bet of $6,500 on the 3? turn. When the 8? appeared on the river, Millar checked, ��patpatman�� bet $22,600, and Millar called off for $17,690.31 with 10?7?. Unfortunately for him, ��patpatman�� rolled over 6?4? to lay claim to the $61,980.63 pot.
��Patpatman�� Finds Redemption Against Sulsky in Monday Action
After losing big on Sunday, ��patpatman�� rebounded on Monday after finishing as the day��s biggest winner with $219,400 in profit. Much of that came from Ben ��Sauce123�� Sulsky, who sits atop the PokerStars 2012 Leaderboard at the $200/$400 no-limit hold��em tables. Needless to say, at stakes that high, there were quite a few big pots.
Hand #1: Action was three-handed with Alex ��Kanu7�� Millar ($62,483.25) when ��patpatman�� ($125,653.50) raised to $800 on the button and Sulsky ($112,022) three-bet to $3,200 from the small blind. Millar got out of the way, ��patpatman�� called, and the flop fell J?9?5?, which both players checked. When the J? turned, Sulsky led out for $5,444 but was met with a raise to $23,333 by "patpatman." Sulsky called the raise and then moved all in for $85,489 on the 7? river, which ��patpatman�� called to create a pot worth $224,439. Sulsky turned over Q?10? for a flush, but it was no good against ��patpatman's�� 9?9? full house.
Hand #2: The lineup and game were the same when Millar ($132,233) opened for $1,000 on the button, ��patpatman�� folded from the small blind, and Sulsky ($121,572.50) defended from the big. Sulsky then check-raised Millar��s bet of $1,400 on the 10?9?3? flop up to $4,444, and Millar made the call. The K? turn saw Sulsky take the initiative with a bet of $7,444, but Millar decided it wasn��t enough and raised to $22,500. Sulsky called and then check-called a bet of $42,000 on the 2? river, creating a $140,083 pot, and discovered his K?3? was good against Millar��s J?7?.
