FTOPS XXII Day 4: TJ Ulmer Defeats Toby Lewis Heads Up in Event #10
Three more champions were crowned during the Full Tilt Online Poker Series XXII on Wednesday. Events #9-11 played down to a winner, and several big names collected five-figure scores.
The biggest earner of the day was top online tournament grinder TJ "DarkHorse19" Ulmer who won Event #10 for $83,466. Ulmer bested British poker star Toby "sexystuff1989" Lewis (pictured) heads up for the FTOPS jersey. Joris "Tyren0" Ruys was also at the six-handed final table.
The other winners on Wednesday were "speedgrinder," who won Event #9 for $22,411, and "KaKeTKa," who took down Event #11 for $37,707.
With 11 of the 38 events in the books through Wednesday, Germany's "keinebeine" still occupies the top spot in the FTOPS XXII Leader Board. However, his once-comfortable lead has been trimmed to 21 points. Karolis "karolis666" Grybauskas made a final table on Wednesday, boosting him into second place on the leaderboard and in contention for the custom Full Tilt Poker avatar and an FTOPS XXIII event package worth $11,000. Others in the top 10 of the leaderboard are Tom "hitthehole" Middleton, Griffin "Flush_Entity" Benger, Jordan "Jymaster11" Young and Ulmer.
