Full Tilt Poker Claims Administration Begins Email Notices, Petitions Begin Sept. 18 0001

On Aug. 16, 2013, the Garden City Group (GCG) issued an update regarding the claims process. Today, a new update has been issued. The update was as follows, according to the GCG website FAQ section:

On September 16, 2013, GCG began emailing Notices to all potentially eligible victims of FTPs fraud who have been identified by GCG utilizing data supplied by FTP. GCG expects to finish emailing the Notices on September 17, 2013. The Notice provides instructions for filing petitions online through the administration website. If you did not receive an email notice and you believe you are eligible to participate in the remission process, you can file a new petition online using the online filing tab on the left sidebar of this website beginning September 18, 2013.

The GCG is the group named as the Claims Administrator by the United States Attorney for the Southern District of New York to oversee the repayment of Full Tilt Poker players, and today marks Sept. 16. The group will be working together with the Asset Forfeiture Unit of the United States Attorney's Office for the Southern District of New York and the Asset Forfeiture and Money Laundering Section of the United States Department of Justice throughout the repayment process.

While those of you that submitted an email address through the website should receive a notice in your inbox today as outlined above, you may still participate in the remissions process by filing a claim online through the GCG website starting on Sept. 18, if you believe you are eligible for repayment. The FAQ section of the website goes on to explain important matters such as the calculation formula to be used, information on how to find out your balance amount, documents needs for the Petition for Remission, and more.
