On Monday evening, partypoker revealed the lineup for Premier League VII at the Playground Poker Club in Montreal, Canada. The $125,000 buy-in, invite-only event will run from Nov. 20-26, and the winner will earn $400,000.

2012 World Series of Poker Main Even champion Greg Merson, who was previously confirmed for the event, is no longer attending.

Editor's Note (1:44 p.m. EST): PokerNews contacted Merson, who provided the following: "Something important came up and I had to cancel last minute. Hoping I get to play the next one. Premier League is an elite event."

After fielding feedback from players, the structure has been altered. The 12 players will compete in six eight-handed heats, with each player participating in four matches. Points will be awarded based upon finishing position, and the top four point earners will automatically reach the final table. The remaining eight players will battle in a series of best-of-three heads-up matches for the remaining two spots at the six-handed final table.

Dan Shak defeated Sam Trickett heads up to win partypoker Premier League VI, earning $450,000. Antonio Esfandiari, Jonathan Duhamel, and Daniel Cates also reached the final table.

Following partypoker Premier League VII at Playground Club will be the $3,500+$350 buy-in partypoker.net WPT Montreal from Nov. 29-Dec. 5. In 2012, Jonathan Roy won the inaugural WPT Montreal, wading through a massive 1,173-player field. The local favorite earned $777,903 along with a ticket into the WPT Champions Club.

UPDATE (Nov. 30, 5:40 a.m. EST): On Tuesday night, Greg Mueller announced that he will no longer be participating:

Dan Colman will take Mueller's place.
