Final Table Payouts
Place | Player | Prize |
---|---|---|
1 | Devon MacPherson | $42,768 |
2 | Nicholas Febbraio | $25,698 |
3 | Satish Surapaneni | $15,551 |
4 | Ken Munroe | $13,024 |
5 | Joseph Langsan | $10,691 |
6 | Mikey Olarte | $8,650 |
7 | Jeremiah McKenna | $6,901 |
8 | Sergio Vigano | $5,248 |
9 | Steve McManus | $3,596 |
Steve McManus was the first player to fall once the final table was reached. He found himself all in with the K?5? before the flop but was ultimately unable to catch up to Nicholas Fabbraio's JxJx. Following McManus out the door was Sergio Vigano who fell in eighth place. On his final hand, Vigano found himself all in with the 6?6? before the flop. He was crushed by Satish Surapaneni's 8?8? and exited after a runout of K?A?9?5?7?.
Jeremiah McKenna was the next to go, moving all in before the flop for roughly 1 million in chips. MacPherson snapped him off and the hands were tabled.
McKenna: A?7?
MacPherson: A?Q?
The board came down J?4?3?4?K? and McKenna was eliminated in seventh place for $6,901.
From there, Mikey Olarte was the next to go after his K?J? could not best Joseph Langsan's A?9? before the flop. Soon after, Langsan was eliminated in fifth by eventual champion MacPherson. Langsan open-shipped all in with the A?7? and MacPherson woke up in the big blind with Q?Q?.
Langsan was behind but did improve on the 7?2?K? flop. Unfortunately it was not enough improvement and he was sent packing after the 2? on the turn and the J? on the river.
MacPherson made quick work of Ken Munroe soon after. Munroe was all in with the K?6? before the flop but could not best MacPherson's ace-jack. He fell in fourth for $13,024.
Surapaneni found himself short-stacked during three-handed play and moved all in from the small blind with the Q?5?. MacPherson called with the 10?3? and was looking to improve and score yet another elimination. The K?J?6? flop gave Surapaneni outs to make a heart flush and kept him in the lead in the hand. But MacPherson paired up on the 3? turn and ultimately score the elimination when the K? paired the board on the river.
Surapaneni's elimination left MacPherson and Febbraio heads up for the title. On the final hand, MacPherson min-raised the button and Febbraio shipped all in over the top. MacPherson quickly called.
Febbraio: A?6?
MacPherson: 4?4?
The two were racing for Febbraio's tournament life and MacPherson's shot at the title. The final board fell Q?3?9?3?7?, allowing MacPherson's fours to hold to clinch the victory.
