The heads-up battle wasn't as easy as the rest of the final table for Kozlov, however, but he eventually bested Bernard Beh who was awarded AU$108,570 for his runner up finish.
Kozlov is no stranger to winning poker tournaments with over $1.2 million in online cashes according to PocketFives and over $500,000 in live finishes according to the Hendon Mob. His last major live tournament win was back in 2010 when won AZNT Melbourne, beating fellow Australian poker pro James Obst in the process.
The 235-player field was a slight increase from the 227 players the tournament attracted the year before, and there was no shortage of household names. Kozlov's domination of the final table was more impressive considering he did it against Daniel Neilson, Sam Capra, and Jarred Graham.
A total of 24 players made the money the money.
