2014 Seneca Fall Poker Classic Begins Tomorrow
Starting tomorrow, Saturday, Nov. 1, the 2014 Seneca Fall Poker Classic, a five-event series running through Nov. 9, will kick off at the Seneca Niagara Hotel and Casino in Niagara, Falls, N.Y. Whats more, PokerNews will be on the floor providing live updates, chip counts, photos, and more from each tournament.
The series begins with a $500 No-Limit Hold'em event, and that will be followed by a $125 No-Limit Hold'em $50,000 Guarantee event featuring six starting days. Players in both those events, as well as all the others on the 2014 Seneca Fall Poker Classic schedule, will be able to utilize our patented MyStack App which will allow them to directly update their chip counts in the PokerNews blog using their iPhone or Android phone.
Those first two events will take place inside the Seneca Poker Room, but Events #3-5 will then take place on the balcony of the Seneca Niagara Hotel and Casino, which means players for those events only need to be 18 and older to participate.
Beginning on Friday, Nov. 7, the series will culminate with the $1,000 No-Limit Hold'em Main Event, which boasts a $200,000 guaranteed prize pool. Last year, Andy Spears topped a field of 149 entrants to win the Fall Poker Classic Main Event for $52,410. Not only that, he did so in impressive fashion after finishing as the chip leader each day of the tournament.
"It is PokerNews' pleasure to once again be working with Seneca Gaming & Entertainment for the upcoming Fall Poker Classic, and we are thrilled to be providing live coverage from start to finish of the entire series," said PokerNews Editor-in-Chief Donnie Peters. "The staff is very professional, the players have a great excitement for poker, and the venue is excellent. We highly recommend all poker players make the trip to Seneca at some point in their careers, and what better time to go than for the $200,000 guarantee Main Event?"
