Then, at the final table, it was Kevork Vorperian sent to the rail in ninth place.

Tournament circuit regular Sean Drake busted in eighth place, and notable Billy Huynh finished a few spots higher in fifth place. Drake took home $10,224 for his finish, and Huynh won $16,128.

Jed Hoffman and Dee Timmons were eliminated in fourth place and third place, respectively, and that set up the final duel between Massey and Danny Gonzalez.

The two final competitors battled for 49 hands. According to the HPT, the match involved many all-in pots and a few doubles up. Eventually, though, it was Massey's Kx7x racing faster to the finish line that Gonzalez's pocket fives to end it. For his runner-up result, Gonzalez scored $48,384.
