The Turbo Championship of Online Poker (TCOOP) Wraps Up This Weekend on PokerStars 0001

The fourth edition of the Turbo Championship of Online Poker (TCOOP) on PokerStars is in full force with 35 of the 50 events in the books, and 15 more fast-action events to be played from Jan. 30 to Feb. 1.

This year's edition of the TCOOP includes over $15 million in guarantees given away between Jan. 22 to Feb. 1, with some of the biggest events yet to be played including the TCOOP-49: $700 NL Hold'em Main Event [Turbo]. The TCOOP Main Event takes place on Feb. 1 at 15:30 ET, and is on just about every poker player's wish list, since it features a huge $2 million guarantee with at least $300,000 promised to first place.

High rollers are not only looking forward to the Main Event, but also the TCOOP-47: $2,100 NL Hold'em [Turbo, High Roller] event taking place at 19:00 ET on Feb. 1. The high-roller event boasts the second largest guaranteed prize pool, with at least $1.25 million in guarantees to be awarded.

Players on a more limited bankroll can satellite into these two events or any of the 15 other events with satellites running around the clock. The frequency of the amount of satellites typically ramps up a couple of hours before a TCOOP starts giving many players a chance at a big turbo-charged payday.

In addition to satellites, many lower limit players are expected to buy into the TCOOP-39: $82 FL Hold'em [6-Max, Turbo] event on Jan. 30 at 14:00 ET featuring a $50,000 guaranteed prize pool and the TCOOP-44: $33 Saturday Speedway Special Edition [Turbo] event on Jan. 31 at 19:00 ET. These lower buy-in events also have plenty of guarantees making it possible for even the micro stakes player to enjoy some of the fast-paced TCOOP action.

The biggest event that took place yesterday was the TCOOP-34: $215 NL Hold'em [Turbo, Re-Entry] event, which shattered the $600,000 with the 2,605 entries and 1,292 re-entries creating a $779,400 prize pool. While PokerStars player "TONY MONT211" won the event for $64,801.32, it was second place finisher "cocoojones" who was the big money winner in this tournament, taking home $108,642.99 due to the final five players agreeing to chop the tournament.

Here is a look at the remaining 15 events remaining on the 2015 TCOOP schedule.
