The second edition of the Garden State Super Series (GSSS) is in full swing on BorgataPoker.com and partypoker NJ, giving New Jersey poker players a chance at a big payday every day from Jan. 11 to Jan. 25.
The series features 69 exciting events grouped into pairs of three. Each of the 23 groups contains a low, medium, and high event, allowing all types of players to get in on the action.

The 472 players competing for the $100,000 guaranteed prize pool found themselves in an enviable position when late registration close of the prize pool being bloated by $12,680 with the 63 players that cashed this tournament each receiving at least $360.
The final six players agreed to a chop the prize pool, which is understandable due to the big paydays each of the players was securing for themselves. "TimmyKGB17" locked up $10,275 for winning the tournament and Jordams "BF-WhizKid" Cespedes took second place for $10,071. "Smoeseph", "debtoverload8d", "Godzilla", and "PeoplesChamp" finished in third to sixth place respectfully, each taking home $9,271.

The final heads-up battle didn't see any cards dealt with "BobbyOboodi" and Edwin "GiantGenius" Roman splitting the remaining prize pool, giving each player a $6,875 payday.

There are still plenty of big tournament left in the series, including the $200 buy-in GSSS #22 Mid - $150,000 NLH Main Event. This tournament not only features the biggest guaranteed prize pool in the series, but also has lots of satellites running every day, offering many lower limit players a chance to pad their bankrolls in a big way.
Higher limit New Jersey poker players will have their eye not only on this tournament, but also the GSSS #22 High - $75,000 NLH Main Event. The big $1,000 buy-in should assure a very competitive field, each with a good chance of a big win due to the number of entrants expected to be smaller than many of the other events.
Lower limit players also have their day in the sun with a $50 buy-in GSSS #22 Low - $25,000 NLH Main Event. Once again, there are many qualifier tournaments running for New Jersey players looking to pay a little less to play in a GSSS II Main Event.
Here is a look at the complete GSSS II schedule:
For those of you not aware, New Jersey became the third state to regulate online poker in November 2013 following the heals of Nevada and Delaware. Currently, licensed poker sites in New Jersey include BorgataPoker.com, partypoker NJ, WSOP NJ, and 888poker NJ.
While you must be physically located in New Jersey to play on these sites, players from neighboring states can also take part in the action just by crossing the border.
