Watch the World's Best Poker Players in the Celebrity Cash Kings Live on PokerNews!
On April 26-27, some of the world's best poker players will gather at King's Casino in Rozvadov, Czech Republic, to join the Celebrity Cash Kings, an incredible cash game that is going to be live streamed on PokerNews.
Right before the European Poker Tour Grand Final kicks off in Monte Carlo, an impressive lineup of poker players will invade Europe's biggest poker room to engage in a 50/100 no-limit Texas hold'em game that the organizers say may see the blinds increase as soon as the action at the table heats up.
"We do a regular stream of cash-game action from King's, but this Celebrity Cash Kings is the toughest and most prestigious yet with many of the world's best players involved," said King's Casino owner Leon Tsoukernik. "I have got the famous King's hospitality and my American smile ready."
Among the players who have already confirmed their attendance to the event, are Dan Colman, Liv Boeree, Daniel "Jungleman" Cates, Max Altergott, Igor Kurganov, George Danzer, Philipp Gruissem, and Ole Schemion.
"I'm looking forward to it," Cates said. "It is the perfect warm up for EPT Monte Carlo, and Leon [Tsoukernik] and his staff are such fantastic hosts. Plus, the lineup just keeps getting stronger all the time!"
The event will begin on April 26 a 17:00 CET, and it will continue until the players board on a private jet and fly to Monaco, where they will join the last EPT stop in Season 11.
The Celebrity Cash Kings event will also mark a new step in the cooperation between the King's Casino and Raising for Effective Giving (REG), the award-winning charitable organization founded by Boeree, Gruissem, and Kurganov.
"The great lineup is very likely a combination of a promise of a fun TV game, Leon's hospitality, and a desire from the players to support REG's causes," Boeree told PokerNews. "In regards to the support to REG, King's Casino have kindly offered to put a permanent donation box in the casino allowing players to donate. King's Casino will also be running a major tournament series in late July where all the rake will be donated to REG's supported charities."
