2015 Aussie Millions TV Broadcast Begins on Tuesday
Starting at 11 p.m. on Tuesday, May 5, Australian poker lovers will get the chance to relive one of the most celebrated tournament series of the year, as the 2015 Aussie Millions will air on ONE HD.
The Aussie Millions will be broadcast during a six-week span, with 12 one-hour episodes to be aired every Tuesday and Wednesday night.
The first episode is set to feature the final table of the Main Event that was played at Crown Casino in Melbourne on Feb. 1.
Starting with Joel Douaglin, Lennart Uphoff, Richard Lyndaker, Manny Stavropoulos, James Rann, Brian Rast, and Anthony Legg, the final table offered intense action that ended once hometown hero Stavropoulos beat Germany's Uphoff in a heads-up battle that allowed him to walk away with the AU$1,385,500 top prize.
After Stavropoulos' victory in the Main Event, ONE HD viewers will be offered other remarkable events like the $100,000 Challenge won by Richard Yong and the LK Boutique $250,000 Challenge that saw Phil Ivey walk away with the AU$2,205,000 first prize after a heads-up play against Mike "Timex" McDonald.

"This premiere will be a world exclusive featuring the best international poker players in some of the biggest buy-in events in poker. Crown Melbourne and the Aussie Millions, along with the city of Melbourne, will be showcased to worldwide audiences."
ONE HD's broadcast will be hosted by the TV presenter and poker enthusiasts Jaimee Rogers and will have commentary from 2005 World Series of Poker Main Event champion Joe Hachem and Paul "The Voice" Khoury.
