More big names continue to land title in the 2015 PokerStars Spring Championship of Online Poker (SCOOP), but it's the latest victory by Calvin "cal42688" Anderson that proved one for the record books.

Entering this year's SCOOP, Anderson was tied for the most series titles with Shaun "shaundeeb" Deeb, as both players had previously won five events. Interestingly enough, when SCOOP-13-H: $2,100 Stud reached its final table of eight Anderson and Deeb were both still alive and gunning for the new all-time high.

As it would turn out, Deeb fell in fourth place before Anderson went on to win the title and $36,600.

The event attracted 66 entries and generated a prize pool of $132,000. The field was full of top players, and the final table was especially stacked with the likes of Dan "djk123" Kelly, Andrey "Kroko-dill" Zaichenko, Bernardo "bedias" Dias, and Christian "CMoosepower" Elgstr?m joining Anderson and Deeb.

When the final table was reached, Anderson had a big chip lead, and he used that to his advantage by hanging around and not getting overly involved while others did the work for him. In fact, Kelly and Deeb busted out the first four players from the final table, and then it was Kelly sending Deeb packing in fourth place. Kelly also did the third-place scalping when he busted Zaichenko to set up heads-up play against Anderson, but Anderson still held the lead.

Anderson and Kelly are two very talented players, especially in the online realm. As a sign of mutual recognition of this fact, they agreed to a deal that left $1,500 on the table for the winner. After the deal was made, it took 54 hands for Anderson to finish off Kelly and earn his sixth SCOOP title.

According to the event report on the PokerStars Blog, the final hand saw Kelly miss with the 8?5?J?K?Q?10?6? versus Anderson's winning A?7?4?7?5?4?K? after the two got all the money in on sixth street.
