Dominik Nitsche to Give Away Five Percent of His WSOP Europe Main Event Winnings
888poker Ambassador Dominik Nitsche recently won his seat to the 2015 World Series of Poker Europe (WSOPE) 10,450 Main Event, which kicks off at Spielbank Berlin Casino in Berlin, Germany, on Oct. 18.
In addition to the Main Event, the first-ever WSOPE festival to be held in Germany features also a handful of new bracelet events like the Oktoberfest, a 550 buy-in no-limit hold'em event which includes four opening days starting on Oct. 9.
To help celebrate Nitsche's win, 888poker and Nitsche decided to give the room's players a chance to not only play in the Oktoberfest event for free, but also give them a chance to win five percent of whatever Nitsche wins during the WSOPE Main Event.
Nitsche was elated by how his Sunday started, announcing to his over 7,000 Twitter followers about his win.
just won my #WSOPBerlin seat and got a top ten stack in the mega deep with less than 100 players remaining. fun sunday so far #888poker

While Nitsche wound up finishing in 46th place in the Mega Deep for $557, he still had a great Sunday after winning his seat.
Shortly afterwards, to the surprise of his fans, Nitsche announced on Twitter how players can not only root for him to win in the WSOPE Main Event, but also have a piece of the action.
starting tomorrow you can win 5% of my #WSOPBerlin main event action. here is how https://t.co/bDHJoB0KRm #888poker

Here's how players can win both a seat to Oktoberfest and five percent of Nitsche's WSOPE Main Event winnings.
888poker is hosting three $11 Dominik Nitsche Berlin Bounty tournaments. The first one already took place on Sept. 15, with the other two tournaments following one and two weeks later on Sept. 22 and 29. The winner of each tournament will earn a seat to the 550 Octoberfest event taking place in Berlin and, to make things more fun, the player that knocks out Nitsche in the tournament will also win an extra $88 prize. Players that finish in the top 10 in any of the three tournaments will be able to compete in a special Dominik Main Event WSOPE Qualifier on Oct. 4, where the winner will earn the rights to five percent of Nitsche's WSOPE Main Event winnings.
The winner of this event will have a great chance to win big money, consider Nitsche is just shy of $5 million of career live tournament winnings, according to The Hendon Mob. During the last WSOPE Main Event in 2013, the German poker pro won a cool 400,000 for his third-place finish. If this promotion ran two years ago, this means the winner of the Dominik Main Event WSOPE Qualifier would have walked away with 20,000 for his or her $11 investment.
