Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Releases Upcoming Event Schedule Through August 2016
The Seminole Hard Rock "Rock 'n' Roll Poker Open" Championship is currently playing out at the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Hollywood, Florida, but already the stop is looking forward to upcoming poker events through August 2016.
The venue will host five series that will pay out over $13 million in guaranteed prize pools. The first will be the Seminole Hard Rock Lucky Hearts Poker Open (LHPO), which will take place from January 7-20 and culminate with a live streamed $1,100 buy-in WPT DeepStacks Main Event that'll feature a $1 million guarantee.
Then in February, the $1 Million Escalator Series will feature four tournaments throughout the month with increasing guarantees each week. Guarantees will start at $100,000 and then end with a $400,000 guarantee from February 25-28.
From March 31 through April 23, the Seminole Hard Rock Poker Showdown will feature a live-streamed WPT Main Event with a $3,500 buy-in and $3 million guarantee. The same stop will also play host to the season-ending WPT Tournament of Champions, a $15,400 buy-in event reserved for Season XIV champions and WPT Champions Club members only.
From May 19-30, the Deep Stack Series will showcase six events with over $600,000 in guaranteed prize pools including a $1,650 buy-in, $300,000 guaranteed Championship from May 26-30.
Finally, the flagship Seminole Hard Rock Poker Open (SHRPO), which debuted in 2013 carrying a historic $10 million guarantee, will see it's fourth installment take place from July 28 through August 16.
For the second year in a row, the "Big Four," a four-event finale concept recently introduced by Seminole Hard Rock during the 2015 series, will return and include a single-entry, $5,250 buy-in, $5 million guarantee championship (August 13-16); a $2,650 No-Limit Hold��em, $1 million guarantee (August 14-16), a $25,400 High Roller, $1 million guarantee (August 15-16); and a $1,100 No-Limit Hold��em reentry, $500,000 guarantee (August 15-16).
