This week, BlogNews Weekly brings you highlights from the latest PokerStars, Full Tilt, and partypoker blogs.

PokerStars Introduces Bounty Builders

PokerStars announced the repackaging of its popular full-ring progressive-jackpot tournaments under a new name called Bounty Builders.

For those of you not familiar with these style of tournaments, half the buy-in is dedicated towards a progressive-knockout. This means whens you knock an opponent out of the tournament, half the bounty assigned to that player is immediately rewarded to your bankroll, while the other half is added to your personal bounty amount. Likewise, your opponents become more valuable to knockout if they have already eliminated a player themselves and thus increased their bounty you can collect.

Bounty Hunters run 18-times per day with buy-ins ranging from $0.55 to $215, each with a sizable guaranteed prize pool. Saturdays become more unique as instead of just half of the buy-in going towards a bounty, it is increased to 75% instead. This makes knocking out your opponents more valuable than the other days of the week.

Become a Gladiator at partypoker

Partypoker is challenging its players to become a Gladiator, which comes with huge rewards including freeroll tickets and cold hard cash up to $4,000.

The partypoker Blog titled Are You Ready to Become a Gladiator? discusses how loyalty can pay off. Even the lowest volume player can earn something, including a ticket to a $250 freeroll just by earning one party point on five separate days in December.

It will take a true gladiator to earn the highest reward, however. Partypoker set the bar high, with players needing to earn at least 1,200 party points on 30 separate days to be able to claim the highest prize available of $4,000.
