Day 19 of the 2016 World Series of Poker saw Ian Johns join Jason Mercier as the second two-time bracelet winner of the the summer so far.

The Seniors Championship final six was set, and the defending champion of the Super Seniors Event grabbed the chip lead in that tournament once again.

Two Day 2s saw both field's trimmed considerably and the $10,000 Omaha Hi-Low Championship kicked off.

Ian Johns Earns His Second Bracelet of 2016

Ian Johns joined Jason Mercier as the second two-time winner at the 2016 WSOP on Sunday. Johns won Event #28: $10,000 Limit Hold'em Championship for $290,635, topping a field of 110 entries.

Johns not only scored his second WSOP gold bracelet of the summer, but he won his third overall. Earlier this summer, Johns won Event #8: $1,500 H.O.R.S.E. for $212,604, finishing atop a 778-player field in that one and beating Justin Bonomo in heads-up play.

Final Six in the Seniors Set

The record-breaking 4,499-player $1,000 Seniors No-Limit Hold'em Championship played down to just six remaining on Sunday.

The day started with 57 players left and quickly moved down to a final table of nine when Pete Vilandos busted in 10th place. Alan Cutler was eliminated in ninth, Mike Lisanti in eighth, and Eugene Solomon in seventh, before the remaining players bagged up for the night.

Wesley Chong will take a healthy chip lead into the event's final day on Monday.

Play will resume at 11 a.m. with a $538,204 top prize, WSOP bracelet, and the seniors event's Golden Eagle trophy awaiting the winner.

Marino Mura Leads 31 in the $1,500

After two days of play, just 31 players remain in Event #29: $1,500 No-Limit Hold'em.

Marino Mura grabbed the overnight lead as the only player over the 1 million-chip mark. Top pros David Vamplew and Matt Stout are also stacked heading into Monday's third day. 2004 WSOP Main Event runner-up David Williams remains in the hunt.

Players who cashed, but failed to advance, included 2009 WSOP Main Event Champion Joe Cada, John Monnette, Chad Holloway, and Actor James Woods.

Play will resume at 12 p.m. local time with a $401,494 first-place prize and a WSOP bracelet on the line.

Ortynskiy Leads 14 in Six-Max PLO

Viacheslav Ortynskiy leads the final 14 players of Event #30: $3,000 Six-Handed Pot-Limit Omaha after two days of play.

Recognizable players still in the hunt for the WSOP bracelet and $344,327 first prize include Randy Ohel and Sean Winter.

Players cashing but failing to advance included Christian Harder, Mike Watson, Humberto Brenes, Paul Volpe, and Joe Ingram.

Play will resume at 2 p.m. local time Monday.

Andlovec Defends Super Seniors Title

Event #31: $1,000 Super Seniors No-Limit Hold'em, open to anyone 65 and over, drew a field of 1,476 players on Sunday. That created a $1.328 million prize pool that will pay 222 players with a min-cash worth $1,498 and $230,626, and a WSOP bracelet, awaiting the winner.

Just 221 players remain after the first day, with last year's winner, Jon Andlovec, grabbing the overnight lead in an effort to repeat.

Play will resume on Monday at 11 a.m. local time.

The $10,000 Omaha Hi-Low Draws 163

Event #32: $10,000 Omaha Hi-Low Championship drew 163 entries on Sunday, creating a $1.532 million prize pool that will pay the top 25. A min-cash is worth $14,954 while a WSOP bracelet and $407,194 awaits the winner.

Grzegorz Trelski grabbed the overnight lead with 70 players remaining.

Shaun Deeb, Andrew Brown, Mikhail Semin, Eli Elezra, Esther Taylor-Brady, and George Danzer all bagged healthy stacks.

In addition to all the other action described above, Event #33: $1,500 Summer Solstice No-Limit Hold'em, a five-day event with 90-minute levels and structure that mimics that of the Monster Stack event, begins at 11 a.m., and Event #34: $1,500 2-7 Triple Draw starts at 3 p.m.
