Sunday Briefing: "Koby295" Turns $4.40 Into $188,928
Imagine winning a seat to the PokerStars Sunday Million in a $4.40 rebuy satellite then going on to finish first in a field of 6,269 players to bank a career-best score of $188,928.82. It would be an awesome feeling, right?
That is exactly what "Koby295" did on Sunday, writing his own poker fairytale. The German was one of four players involved in a deal towards the end of the $215 buy-in tournament, and then went on to outlast everyone to claim an additional $20,000 left from the discussions.
The other three players involved in the deal, in order of finishing position, were "mariusghet12" ($94,505.49), "ktm2502t" ($100,000), and Akos "Akkerx" Pasztor ($117,587.41).

- Artem "veeea" Vezhenkov who won the Hot $162 for $5,975.48
- "Ahhh Is It?" who won the Bounty Builder for $13,080.91
- "Bluf_To_Much" who won the Sunday Warm-Up for $51,360
- "jnel9" who won the Big $109 for $22,548.91
- "Brryann" who won the Hot $162 for $13,732.02
- "wuming 23rd" who won the Super-Sized Sunday for $32,005.27
- "kofi89" who won the Hot $109 for $16,759.45
- Pedro "gusmaa" Madeira who won the Sunday Grand for $50,116.50
- Apostolis "apostolis20" Bechrakis who won the Big $215 for $23,842.31
- "Mad_Dog_Er1c" who won the Sunday Cooldown for $19,975.09
- Bertie "bigstealer" Bayley who won the Sunday Supersonic for $30,961.47
It wasn't only at PokerStars where there was big money won because partypoker got in on the act, too.
"D0nKanaille_" won this week's $2,600 Super High Roller for $44,400, while "SLABBE1991" won the $150,000 Main Event for $24,150.15 and finished sixth in the $530 High Roller for an additional $7,312.50; that High Roller was chopped by "eisenhower1" and "Nicholas_Brody" for $29,776.14 and $25,880.12, respectively.
Over at 888poker, the $80,000 Baby Whale was won by "allesrigged" for $18,053.55 with Artem "veeea" Vezhenkov adding the $100,000 Mega Deep title, and $23,159.14, to his win at PokerStars earlier in the evening.
Shout outs also have to go to "iqhaha" who won the $40,000 Turbo Mega Deep for $8,643, "atlasshrugs9" who won the $50,000 Crocodile for $11,830.63, and "bienemajo" who took down the $80,000 Sunday Challenge for $13,316.54.
