New Jersey Online Poker Briefing: Daniel Lupo, Daniel Buzgon, David Coleman Win Big!

Many of the major tournaments on PokerStars NJ featured a 50 percent discount on the entry fee while keeping their guaranteed prize pools the same as usual as part of the last day of Half Price Week. The promotion appeared to be successful with prize pools growing week-over-week.

David "coles93" Coleman took the most advantage of the promotion on Sunday by outlasting a field of 602 entrants to ship the Half Price Sunday Special - $100, $50,000 Gtd for $10,390. Coleman added to his big day with two more big final table finishes including a fourth-place finish in the PokerStars NJ Nightly Stars $100, $12,000 Gtd for $1,293 and a runner-up performance in the WSOP.com NJ/888poker NJ $10,000 Warriors�� Opening Strike for $1,749.

New Jersey's Yong "iFoldN0T" Kwon also notched a big win by shipping the Half Price Sunday High Roller [6-Max] - $250, $15,000 Gtd to collect $6,619 as part of a three-way deal. Also on the final table in this tournament were Justin "L0ck1tUp" Wong snagging fourth place for $3,070 and John "FizzEdJohn" Cosgrove Jr finishing in sixth place for $1,625.

However, the biggest single win over the weekend belonged to Daniel "centrfieldr" Lupo who took down the WSOP.com NJ/888poker NJ $50,000 Ultimate Warrior for $13,500. Lupo also appeared on the final table in the WSOP.com/888poker $30,000 The BIG Deal with a sixth-place finish for $2,830 and in the partypoker NJ/BorgataPoker.com Sunday Seconds $10K Gtd with another sixth-place finish worth $756.

Also scoring huge was Daniel "juice" Buzgon who won the $30,000 The BIG Deal for $10,909. Buzgon took the top prize of $2,635 in the Sunday Seconds $10K Gtd after agreeing to a heads-up deal and won another $1,000 with a fourth-place finish in the WSOP.com/NJ 888poker $10,000 Fierce Warrior.

Meanwhile, "Wyeth" was the biggest winner on partypoker NJ/BorgataPoker.com with a victory in the Sunday $40K gtd for $9,560. Joshua "layitdown08" Rothberg finished in second place for $6,295 and Joshua "WilfordBrimley" Berardi secured $2,247 for seventh place.
