The 2017 Super High Roller Bowl sold out in one day, according to an announcement from Poker Central and ARIA Resort & Casino.

As of Feb. 2, there were 35 seats available, along with the 15 reserved for ARIA (one for a celebrity player), a total of 50 seats. The bowl actually oversold. Fifty-four players placed deposits and ARIA held a randomized drawing, which aired on Poker Centrals Facebook as a Facebook Live video, on Feb. 3 to choose the players. The remaining 15 players will be chosen by ARIA.

The lightning speed of The Super High Roller Bowls sellout confirms its now THE world championship of high-stakes poker, said Joe Kakaty, president of Poker Central. Every player wants to play in The Super High Roller Bowl.

The prize pool is $15 million with a buy-in of $300,000, featuring seven-handed tables and capping it at 50 seats. The Bowl runs May 28-31 and has a $5 million first-place prize and zero rake.
