Sunday Briefing: Sam Grafton Wins the Sunday Grand
Popular British grinder Sam ��SamSquid�� Grafton helped himself to his fourth largest online poker tournament cash on March 27 when he took down the $1,050 Sunday Grand NLHE at PokerStars for $52,633.
Grafton outlasted 275 opponents on his way to securing the huge prize, coming out on top of a final table that also featured Igor ��IgorKurganov�� Kurganov, Aaron ��AaronBeen�� Been, Kenny ��SpaceyFCB�� Hallaert and Chris ��Big Huni�� Hunichen, the latter finishing third for $29,112.
Hunichen added $39,982 in prize money and $11,746 to that princely sum by being the last player standing in the $700 Super-Sized Sunday, then won $14,152 by finishing fifth in the $215 Sunday Warm-Up for a remarkable set of results.
