Alessandro Siena Leads Final Table of MPNPT Malta Main Event
Italy's Alessandro Siena ended Day 2 of the MPN Poker Tour Main Event at Casino Malta and heads into the final table as the overall chip leader with 2,854,000 in chips.

In addition to Siena, two other players begin the final table with seven-digit chip counts including Turkey's Cihan Eran (second - 1,509,000) and Slovakia's Adrian Huzevka (third - 1,393,000).
Huzevka won the tournament's Last Longer King promotion and will be rewarded a free MSNPT Manchester Main Event package on July 20-23 valued at �1,500. The promotion was available for qualifiers from Betsson, Betsafe, NordicBet, Triobet and Bets10.
There are players from seven different countries on the final table. Among the shorter stacks are two players from Denmark including Jacob Neilsen (fourth - 802,000) and Daniel Jacobsen (sixth - 641,000) and two players from Lithuania including Edgaras Bucinskas (fifth - 718,000) and Deividas Kvaselis (ninth - 355,000). Also in contention is United Kingdom's Alan Carr, who had the chip lead after Day 1a.
The Main Event prize pool stands at �178,480, comfortably above the �150,000 guarantee after a bumper Day 2 saw the total entries rise to 368 entrants.
Prizes have already been paid out to most of the top 44 finishers, with a min-cash worth �1,100 and the next player eliminated now receiving �3,000. Tomorrow��s winner is set to bag �35,000 �C almost double the amount the last MPNPT Malta Main Event champion, Csaba Malnai, won in 2014.
After Quentin Laucher finishing on the bubble this afternoon (45th place), the remaining players were guaranteed a share of the prize money. Laucher himself received a free ticket into the MPNPT Manchester Main Event as a consolation prize.

Side events round off MPNPT Malta tomorrow with a �330 NLH Freezeout (4 p.m.) and �110 Play2Care event (6 p.m.).
