NBC Sports Group and Poker Central announced a media rights agreement on April 3, outlining how NBC will present Poker Central programming on digital and cable TV, beginning with the 2017 Super High Roller Bowl.

NBC Sports Network (NBCSN) could begin airing Poker Central content as early as this summer with the Super High Roller Bowl on May 28. The content would air Monday nights.

Poker Central shut down its 24/7 television programming last year with the intent to continue producing content online.

Partnering with the distinguished NBC Sports Group allows us to distribute our content to a platform agnostic audience," said McCabe in a release.

NBCSports.com and the NBC Sports app will stream Poker Central content.

NBCSN is thrilled to present Poker Centrals high-stakes action said Gary Quinn, vice president of programming for NBC Sports Group. Partnering with Poker Central allows us to continue to deliver high-quality programming, while creating a destination for both existing and new poker fans alike.

Poker Central's Super High Roller Bowl recently expanded its field to 56 players, after initially selling out in a day. The buy-in sits at $300,000 with a $16.8 million prize pool. The winner will take home $6 million.
