Alessandro Siena Wins MPNPT Malta Main Event
Italian online poker pro Alessandro Sienna took his talents to the live felt and won a nine-handed final table of the �550 MPN Poker Tour Malta Main Event in record time.
After five hours, Sienna raised the trophy and collected the tournament's top prize of �35,000.

The MPNPT Malta Main Event attracted 368 entrants to generate a huge prize pool of �178,480, which smashed the posted guarantee of �150,000.
The final table was broadcasted on the Thrill of Poker Twitch channel and Facebook Live on a 30-minute delay and also watched by those in attendance by the many players showing up for MPNPT Malta side events.
Siena kicked off the final table with double the stack of his opponents and never lost the chip lead. The Italian extended his chip lead to a huge 10:1 advantage against his nearest opponent by the time play was four-handed.
According to the MPNPT Blog, Jacobsen took further control of the match after he eliminated Slovakia's Adri��n H��?evka in fourth place for �15,000. H��?evka shoved his short stack with ace-queen and his hand was unable to hold against Siena's nine-six.
Very soon later, Siena eliminated Lithuania's Edgaras Bucinskas in third place for �20,000 when his ace-seven suited held against his opponent's queen-nine suited. After the hand, Sienna amassed a 12:1 chip lead against Danish 18-year-old student Daniel Jacobsen.
The heads-up battle may have lasted longer than what Siena had anticipated considering his huge chip lead. Jacobsen was off to a quiet start, but was able to make in roads into collecting Siena's stack.
Jacobsen first doubled when his ace-four held against Siena's king-four. The Danish student doubled again when his pocket sevens held against Siena's six-two suited. After this hand, Sienna's chip lead was down to 3.5:1 against his opponent.
Siena battled back and began to increase his chip lead before he became the latest MPN Poker Tour Main Event champion when his ace-queen held against Jacobsen's ace-ten. Jacobsen didn't walk away empty-handed as he collected the healthy runner-up prize of �26,000.
