King's Casino, located on the border of Germany in Rozvadov, Czech Republic, hosts the largest poker room in Europe. The poker room is popular due to the plethora of cash games running around the clock and tournament festivals running each and every week.
May was no different at King's Casino. In addition to the amazing cash games, the casino hosted five different tournament festivals. Here is a look at the highlights.
May 4-7: Six-Way Deal in the Deutsche Poker Tour Main Event
The first big tournament in May was the �159 Deutsche Poker Tour Main Event on May 4-7. Each of the 71 players out of the 554 that cashed in this �100,000 guaranteed prize pool event was awarded a little bit more value than normal thanks to the tournament featuring a bit of overlay.
The top prize was slated to be �18,323. However, the final six players from four different countries agreed to a final table deal to flatten the top-heavy payout structure.
Players at King's Casino are not required to use their real names when entering most tournaments and can instead use nicknames. The players to score the top three prizes chose to remain anonymous, including Germany's "Nobody" who banked �10,306, the biggest prize of the tournament.

May 11-14: Hue Tran Wins the King's Knockout Series Main Event
The following week, the King's Knockout Series took place from May 11-16. The highlight of the poker festival was the �195 King's Knockout Series Main Event on May 11-14. The 55 players that cashed out of the 427 entrants in this event received extra value as for the second straight week the casino's Main Event featured overlay.
Similar to the Deutsche Poker Tour Main Event, the King's Knockout Series Main Event also ended with the final six players agreeing to a deal. Germany's Hue Tran walked away with the biggest prize of �9,740 excluding knockouts, his biggest live tournament cash to date according to The Hendon Mob.

May 18-21: Ducardo Ueberfeldt Wins the Forbes Pokerman Open Main Event
The Forbes Pokerman Open Spring Edition took place from May 17-21 with the festival's �110 Main Event taking place from May 18-21.
As was the case in the first two events, there was extra value with the 859 entrants falling short of the number of entries needed to meet the �100,000 posted guaranteed prize pool.
Also as was the case in the first two events in May, the tournament ended in a deal. However, in this case, it was down to the final three players before a deal was made when Germany's Ducardo Ueberfeldt, Czech Republic's Josef Bal��? and Germany's David Sommer agreed to evenly split the remaining prize pool to award each player �12,277. Ueberfeldt earned his way to the win while also snagging his biggest live tournament score.

May 21-25: Vasileios Koromplis Wins the Bavaria Cup Main Event
The Bavaria Cup Main Event began on the same day the Forbes Pokerman Open Main Event on May 21 and concluded a few days later on May 25. As has been the theme, the tournament featured overlay on its �100,000 posted guarantee with 898 entrants ponying up the �99 buy-in.
As has also been the theme, the tournament ended in a deal with Germany's Vasileios Koromplis, Czech Republic's Tom��? Tyr and Germany's "Matze" agreeing to split the remaining funds allotted to the final three players.
Koromplis walked away with the title and took home the tournament's biggest prize of �14,843. This was not only the German's first live tournament victory but his first tournament cash according to The Hendon Mob.

May 25-28: 'emMKey' Wins the German Poker Days Main Event
Slovakia's "emMKey" shipped the biggest Main Event in May at King's Casino of �30,968 after he agreed to a three-way deal with Germany's Tim Jerome van der Heiden and Rasmus Sporr�� in the Germany Poker Days Main Event.
The tournament easily surpassed its �200,000 posted guarantee with the field attracting a massive 1,828 entrants to create a huge �269,173 prize pool.

Action Gets Bigger in June
June promises to be even bigger at King's Casino with the partypoker MILLION Germany hitting the poker room June 1-5.
In a way, the festival has already kicked off with four of the seven opening days of the partypoker MILLION Germany Main Event already in the books. Two of the opening days of this tournament which features a mouth-watering �1 million guarantee were played live at partypoker while the remaining three will take place June 2-4 before all surviving players compete on June 4-5 until a champion is crowned.
