This weekend��s PokerStars Sunday Million saw a bumper field of 6,014 entries who created a prize pool of $1,202,800. This princely sum was distributed among the top 1,007 finishers, with the top prize weighing in at an impressive $180,234.
It was Brazil��s Julio ��powerpokerBR�� Lins who triumphed this week, taking full advantage of the re-entry format and going all the way with his second bullet. The $180,235 Lins won is by far his largest online poker tournament score, one almost six times the size of his previous best, which was a second-place finish in a $109 rebuy at PokerStars in 2012 for $37,260.
Another big winner on Sunday was Jordan ��JWPRODIGY�� Westmorland. Playing from Indonesia, Westmorland walked away with the $35,435 first-place prize of the $1,050 Sunday Grand NLHE to ensure a profitable weekend at the virtual felt.
