Junior Esperandio Leads WSOP Circuit Brazil Main Event on Day 2
The World Series of Poker Circuit Brazil Main Event, sponsored by partypoker LIVE, attracted a bumper field of 939 players to the Bienal Pavilion in Sao Paulo over the course of six qualifying days.
Only 385 of those players have made it through to Day 2 and none of them has more chips than Junior Esperandio, who has amassed a stack of 265,200 chips to claim the overall chip lead.

Esperandio will be hoping to at least repeat his exploits in the 888Live Festival Sao Paulo High Roller event back in September where he finished fourth for R$23,170 ($7,398). That marks his only cash recorded on his Hendon Mob page to date.
Hot on Esperandio��s heels is Rodrigo Gilioti on 249,500, with Jose Totel (245,800), Chico Buonarba (219,200) and George Powidzer (212,400) being the only other players to progress to Day 2 with more than 200,000 chips.
Also through to Day 2 are a trio of Team partypoker members. Canada��s Kristen Bicknell returns to the fray with a 101,200 stack, while Brazilian superstar Joao Simao has a 75,400 stack at his disposal; Simao has more than $6.1 million in online winnings and almost $850,000 from live poker tournaments.
The third and final of the partypoker-sponsored trio is Richard Dubini with 47,000 chips. Dubini currently occupies seventh place in the Argentina all-time money listings thanks to having won $1,554,799 from live events; $535,000 of that impressive sum was paid to Dubini for finishing 12th in the 2017 WSOP Main Event in Las Vegas.
