The team at partypoker has added yet another top pro to their ambassador team, and it might be their most accomplished catch yet.

Isaac Haxton has become the latest to sign on with partypoker, according to a press release from the company.

I am very excited to be joining the partypoker team," Haxton said. "Ive been very impressed with their growth over the last year or so. From expanding their online cash game and tournament offerings, to improving their software, and most of all rolling out their ambitious and innovative live events program, their commitment to growing the game and providing a great product for their players has been clear."

Isaac Haxton the Player

The American pro joins fellow high-roller crusher Jason Koon as a recent signing. They join a team with the likes of Fedor Holz, Kristen Bicknell, Dzmitry Urbanovich, and Patrick Leonard on the roster.

"Im truly proud to represent the company"

Haxton himself should need no introduction to poker fans, as he's been one of the most ever-present faces in the highest stakes tournaments all over the planet for the last several years. Actually diving into the numbers reveals just how strikingly successful Haxton has been in all walks of poker.

In terms of live tournament play, Haxton has racked up nearly $16 million in live cashes, good for 21st place on the all-time money list according to Hendon Mob. He has also won over $3 million in tracked high stakes online games according to High Stakes Database. Add it all up, and Haxton is likely one of the most profitable players on the planet over the past decade-plus.

"We are delighted that Isaac is joining us at partypoker," said partypoker Managing Director Tom Waters. "Isaacs profile and experience makes him a perfect ambassador for the company. Over the years he has also demonstrated a real commitment to principles and will play a key role in helping us meet and exceed player expectations."

From PokerStars to partypoker

What gives the situation a real twist is Haxton's long history of wearing a PokerStars patch. For several years, Haxton was one of the most visible representatives of the world's biggest online poker room, until a less-than-amicable split at the beginning of 2016 following PokerStars heavily scaling back on high-volume player benefits.

At the time, Haxton wrote that he believed PokerStars to be "behaving unethically."

Now, after a couple of years grinding as a free agent, he's switched to his old sponsor's most aggressive rival, which hasn't been shy about its efforts to unseat PokerStars at the top of the poker food chain. The efforts from partypoker have paid at least some dividends in the form of an Operator of the Year award and growing business.

"Im truly proud to represent the company, which I believe is going to be the future of poker, online and live," Haxton said.
