Day 1 of the partypoker MILLIONS Germany 50,000 Super High Roller has ended with 8 players of the 47 initial entries continuing their road to victory and that first-place prize of 800,000. The third and last Super High Roller on the schedule attracted 36 unique players with 11 of them having had to reenter after failing to win an all-in early on. Leading the pack with the biggest stack is Mustapha Kanit with 11,475,000 chips.

As expected, the Germans made up a big chunk of the entries.

The tournament started on a slight delay to give all the high stakes players a chance to join the action. As expected, the Germans made up a big chunk of the entries as nine of the nineteen players that entered during the first level of play came from Germany.

Timothy Adams was the first player of the day that had to reenter after losing most of his stack losing jack-nine to Jean-Noel Thorel's king-jack. Adams lost the remainder of his stack to Daniel Pidun with ace-queen against queen-jack when Pidun hit the jack on the flop. Adams did a lot better on his reentry as he bagged 10,555,000 at the end of the night.

Kanit was the last to enter the tournament and, in his opinion, thats the best way to win tournaments. The talkative Italian will be looking to add another high roller win to his already impressive resume. Patrik Antonius is also through to tomorrow with 3,035,000 chips. The Finn already won the first Super High Roller on Saturday but needed his second bullet today to finish with a shot at another title and trophy.

Also through to tomorrow are Tobias Ziegler (7,830,000), Chi Zhang (4,895,000), Felipe Ramos (3,440,000), Dietrich Fast, and Big Tony (1,665,000).

The partypoker Ambassadors Patrick Leonard, Joao Simao, Sam Trickett, and Team partypoker's Philipp Gruissem all failed to make it through to the final table too.

Action will continue at noon local time and the players will be starting on Level 18 with the 80,000/160,000/160,000 blinds and button ante. Levels will take 40 minutes until the final six players have been reached. The levels will then increase to 60-minutes each. When the heads-up starts, the levels will be shortened again. The live stream will start on a 30-minute delay with hole cards up and is scheduled to start at 12:30 pm local time.
