Cash Game Festival Tallinn

The Cash Game Festival is returning to where it all began, back to the Estonian capital of Tallinn. It's five days and more than 120 hours of nonstop cash game poker action from April 25-29 at Olympic Park Casino that awaits.

Whether you are looking for games big or small, the 2018 Cash Game Festival Tallinn could be your perfect poker vacation getaway with tons of action both on and away from the poker felt.

Games are available in any format you can dream up with stakes starting as low as 1/1 with the sky being the limit in terms of how high. Poker variants in prior festivals included no-limit hold'em, pot-limit Omaha, Sviten Special (aka drawmaha), H.O.R.S.E., Open-Face Chinese poker, super dealer's choice, and many more.

What makes the Cash Game Festival truly special isn't just the action on the felt. Players easily make friends and feel part of a family after attending just one event, thanks to the social aspect the Cash Game Festival encourages.

In addition to the casino offering a bar and lounge area for players to hang out when they're not playing, the Cash Game Festival offers hospitality packages to players that won a high hand promotion in prior festivals, along with satellite winners from its online poker partners including 32Red, Betsafe, OlyBet, and Unibet.

Players can also opt to purchase the hospitality package for a fee which varies depending on the location. However, they typically include welcome drinks, dinners, VIP parties, unique city tours and trips, and sports competitions. Email [email protected], send a message to the Cash Game Festival Facebook page, or ask for more information from the Cash Game Festival team (identifiable with logos on their shirts) when at the casino if interested in participating.

Another exciting aspect of the Cash Game Festival is that the festival will host two televised feature tables each day at 6 p.m. and 9 p.m. on a 20-minute delay with hole cards exposed on the Cash Game Festival Twitch channel. As usual, PokerNews will be on hand to cover the event. The stream will also be embedded in our live coverage.

Two popular prior commentators of the Cash Game Festival in Scotland's Andrew "Picasso" Hedley and England's Herny Kilbane will be teaming up for analysis of the action along with friendly banter among themselves, guest hosts, and of course with viewers in the Twitch chat.

Martin "Franke" von Zweigbergk Vows to Keep the Trophy

One newer aspect of the Cash Game Festival is that it awards a trophy to the best performer at all of the televised feature tables of the event. Cash Game Festival Co-Founder Martin "Franke" von Zweigbergk won the fifth-ever Cash Game Festival trophy during the last stop at Banco Casino Bratislava on April 4-8. He won 1,563 (781.5 big blinds) at a 2/2 pot-limit Omaha table.

This doesn't mean Von Zweigbergk won the most money during the festival, just the most big blinds to keep the contest fair as feature tables are offered at different stakes through each festival. Slovakia's Karol Masarovic, who is expected to be in Tallinn after his friend Alan Sabo won a Cash Game Festival package valued at 1,500 through a high hand promotion in Bratislava, took that honor after winning 4,558 at a 5/10 no-limit hold'em televised feature table.

Winning one trophy isn't enough for von Zweigbergk, and he's challenging everyone to keep him from winning it again to become the first player to win back-to-back Cash Game Festival trophies.

"I aim to do number six, back to back," von Zweigbergk proclaimed in a video interview.

Several players were called out during the video, and they are likely equally hungry to win their second Cash Game Festival trophy. Von Zweigbergk first calls out Norwegian poker pro Jon Kyte, who won the first-ever Cash Game Festival trophy in London in September 2017, as a "Norwegian fish", before calling out Cash Game Festival Dublin winner Kevin Malone as a fish as well.

Another player specifically called out was Unibet Ambassador and cash game aficionado Espen Uhlen J?rstad.

"So if you are Espen out there, this Unibet player, hehehehe, come play with me you farmer," Von Zweigbergk challenged.
